Disturbing Read! "A Modest Proposal" - by Jonathan Swift
Hiya!

HM! I don't quite know what to make of this article by Jonathan Swift.

The author's name sounds familiar to me but I've not read any of his other works. Therefore I'm not sure if his "Modest Proposal" to solve the problem of over-population in Ireland (in the 1700's) is tongue-in-cheek or not.

I'm inclined to believe it is. ;-)  But to be honest I'm really not sure!

Go on.  Please read it if you're the least bit curious about his most interesting proposal.
