Haha, well funny little story from Mark Twain up. I couldn't make head or tail of it at first, until (DUH) realized he's talking about Adam of Adam and Eve. You know, Garden of Eden, snakes, forbidden fruit and that sort of thing.

Quite a funny read. ;-) POOR ADAM! Hope you enjoy!
